Sitting in Silence

Author's Notes: This is basically a poem about not keeping everything bottled up inside you. If something is bothering you or if something is happening in your life and it's affecting you in a negative way then you need to say something. If you don't, you may break in the end and it may be too late to put you back together again.

Into Silence

Author's Notes: This was written for my school's online magazine. I can't remember the exact theme of the challenge, but I think it had something to do with memories or remembrance or something to that effect. Anyway, my poem was about losing those memories and well, you can read it.

A True Friend

Author's Notes: This wasn't something that was going on in my life or anything, but I thought it was an interesting subject and it calls attention to the true meaning of friendship. It's not the fact that you're there for the person, but that you're honest with them even if the truth hurts. Sometimes you have to be brutally honest to get your point across.

A Twisted Tale

Author's Notes: A very weird poem I guess. It has a very obvious theme. Basically my father and I didn't have much of a relationship when I was growing up and I was frustrated a lot. We're great now, but back when I still cared a great deal I was a very angry person.

Brown Glory

Author's Notes: The poem is showing the intensity one can find just by looking into someone's eyes. Brown is such a blah color, you know. Nothing special about them, but the poem disgrees and shows that they can be beautiful. It's not about the color, but about the person.

Do You See What I See?

Author's Notes: This is the whole 'what is after death' theme. How do you look at death question. Is there an afterlife? Or is it nothing at all? Is it just emptiness? Does it hurt? Etc . . . This is my answer, I guess.

The End to a Lie

Author's Notes: This is all about lies and the consequences of those lies. Some people do it because they feel they have no choice. Some do it because they themselves don't want to get in trouble. But others, others do it to make others suffer. The point is that lies tend to come back and bite you in the ass.
